A Finance executive, Larry Sorenson, is mysteriously kidnapped. The hostage takers send video demands directly to the man’s wife, Elizabeth. But a lone police officer, Detective Kelsoe, has his suspicions.

Working closely with Elizabeth, the two begin to fall in love while they discover that the whole kidnapping is part of an elaborate plot to manipulate stock, launder dirty money and allow a mafia take over of the multinational company.

Kelso and Elizabeth must fight to put their feelings for each other aside in order to bring the sinister plot out into the open.
