Jo and her mother, Maureen, have never been the best of friends. But when Maureen's latest husband, a well-respected newspaper editor, is murdered and Maureen is arrested for the crime, Jo finds out that her love for her mom runs deeper than she knows. As the only one who believes her mother's claims of innocence, Jo begins a desperate hunt to find her stepfather's real killer.
