A San Francisco police inspector’s comfortable life falls apart when she discovers her husband wants a divorce.

Unable to afford a good lawyer, she is saved at the last minute by a high-priced lawyer but in return he wants her to be an informant for local a Mob Boss. She agrees, but once her son disappears, she realizes that she’ll need all the help she can get if she wants to get her son back.
